Palak paneer Recipe - Just Like Restaurant Style!

Today I 'm sharing one of my all- time favourite Indian recipes - palak paneer!
It's healthy, flavorful, and super easy to make at home. Let's turn simple spinach and paneer into something absolutely delicious!

💡Ingredients:

🌱 For the Spinach puree:

• 2 bunches fresh spinach (palak approx.500 gm)
• 1 green chilli
• 1/2 inch piece of Ginger
• water (for boiling)

🧀For the Curry:

• 200 grams paneer (cut into cubes)
• 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
• 1 onion (finely chopped)
• 1 tomato (finely chopped or pureed)
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 teaspoon coriander powder
• 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
• 1 tablespoon cream (optional)

🧑‍🍳 How to Make It:

🟢 Make the Spinach puree:

1. Wash spinach leaves well. Boil them in water for 2 minutes.
2. Immediately transfer to cold water to keep the green color vibrant.
3. Bland with green chilli and ginger to make a smooth puree.

🍲 Prepare the Masala:

1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté till golden brown.
3. Add tomatoes and all the spices (turmeric, coriander, chilli powder). Cook until oil starts separating.

🌿 Combine Spinach & paneer:

1. Add the Spinach puree and salt. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low heat.
2. Add the paneer cubes and gently mix.
3. Finally, sprinkle garam masala and a spoon of cream. Cook for 2 more minutes.

🍽️ Serving Tip:

• Serve hot with roti, naan, or jeera rice.
• Garnish with a bit of butter or cream on top - and enjoy the rich, creamy flavour !

💡My Tip:

• For a healthier version, you can skip the cream.
• Lightly pan-frying the paneer before adding makes it even more tasty! 😋
